Tips to find the right spring for your project:-
- Free Length (F/L) filtering the catalogue is usually a good place to start using the drop down filter.
- Choice of Outside Diameter (O/D).
- If more than 10 results filter next by wire type i.e. material.
- The default display is 10 spring options but you can increase that by changing the Show to 25, 50 or 100.
- Reviewing the results, Rate/nm a low number like 0.52 is a weak spring and a high number like 9.57 is a strong spring.
- To compare two different springs click the Alternatives button and that will drop you down the page.
- All measurements are in millimetres.
Material Options:-
- NDC = Carbon Steel Wire
- SSC = 302 Stainless Steel (some resistance to water)
- STC = 316 Stainless Steel (more resistant to corrosion than 302)
