Vernier Springs offers a comprehensive prototype design and manufacturing facility.
Our dedicated engineers will manufacture small-quantity parts of both presswork and springs that can be built into trial units to test designs and modifications prior to committing to full tooling.
A full toolroom allows tooling to be generated in-house for trial samples.
A computer checking program can verify all spring designs, calculating spring forces, tolerances, stresses and also the fatigue capability of the spring.
Vernier Springs and Pressings is a full member of the Institute of Spring Technology. This gives us access to all the latest material technology and full laboratory testing.

Using new, industry-leading technology, Vernier can offer rapid blank development through its sub-contract toolroom.
The software produces flat blank profiles from solid 3D models and also highlights potential splitting or compression areas in the forming stage.
This technology, coupled with the tool room’s water-jet cutting facility, has led to accurate, flat computer-generated blanks being available during the first stages of design work, resulting in significantly reduced lead-times and lower tooling costs.
